Our driveway is pretty long, and Bill and I generally park our cars as close to the garage as we can so that the cars will fit side-by-side (otherwise, the rest of the driveway is a one lane). This helps us avoid having to move cars everytime the other one has to leave.
Well, two weekends ago we drove to Peoria, IL to help Bill's brother and sister-in-law move. We moved Bill's car further down the driveway so it would look like someone was home. When we got back, we never moved the car to it's usual spot because Bill rode his bike to and from work. Very unusal for us to not put it back, since I had to keep parking at the bottom of the driveway...laziness on our part really.
(Bill's car is now parked where I normally would be. He tried telling me that only his mirror would have been hit had it been on the other side...yeah right babe!)
I can't believe how lucky we were, and how sometimes laziness happens for a good reason. We are counting our blessings these days. Home-ownership can be expensive, and I would have hated to have fixed a car that is completely paid for already.
(A little less trimming will need to be done on this tree now!)
Atleast it took care of the ugly white pergala I hated!
And Bill was super excited to buy a chainsaw. In fact, my sister and brother-in-law were going to stop by the day he was cutting up the tree, and Bill was so disappointed they decided not too. He really wanted to show Brent his new chainsaw. Silly boys and their tools.
Yiiiiiiiikes! Wow, what a blessing! That is just crazy!
ReplyDeleteand HAHA! Sounds like my husband. He loves his tools. Silly boys!
