Happy Monday!

This weekend was so productive! Bill and I finally got a chance to work on our lawn. A few weeks ago, we planted some grass in the front yard, but the flowerbeds desperately needed some de-weeding. So we got to work. I screamed at every worm and bug I came across, but at least I helped.

Who knew that gardening would be so expensive! I better try really hard to to kill anything this time, because I spent way too much money to just let everything die.

Bill and I also did a DIY hanging candle holder idea that I got from here on our front porch. I fell in love with this design blog and have so many ideas for our house now.

I'll take some pictures soon, and post them up here.

Also, the Historic Homes Tour in our area wants to put our house on the tour this year! I hope we get picked! They do a lot of research on your house, and since ours was the first house built on the block (1920s), I think there could be some interesting facts to learn about.
